Committee Structure
The Association is committed to provide member companies an opportunity to become involved with its activities. Many of these committees meet monthly and welcome guests to participate in their discussion. The committee listing and a brief description are provided below.
- Health Insurance Governance Appointed by the Board of Directors to oversee the operations of the Employers Insurance Program that includes numerous health insurance and related products.
- Human Resource Group A network of individuals focused on human resource education and roundtable discussions.
- Annual Awards Dinner & Events The premier event that gives members and non-members the opportunity to network, learn the status of key Association thrusts, chooses venue and speaker, and works with partners on the annual awards ceremony.
- Workforce Development A committee of members and partners that manage the development of training programs, selection of training facilities, instructors, and assists in development of secondary educational programs.
- Legislative Affairs Members and other interested parties that develop legislative recommendations to the Board, represent the Association in political activities and interact with local elected officials.
- Budget & Finance Appointed by the Board to oversee and provide recommendations on Association financial matters.
- Member Services Members and other interested parties that oversee roundtable groups and introduce new member programs to the Association, and review new non- health insurance programs.
- Economic Development Keeps abreast of economic issues and current events, assists in manufacturer relocations, expansions, and locations. Works with partners on new initiatives and funding opportunities with local, state and federal agencies.
- Membership & Marketing Keeps up on current membership and marketing trends, assists in recruiting new members, reviews new member applications, develops marketing and PR plans within the organization.
